The NLPOA is open to all members of Law Enforcement / peace officer's.

The goals and objectives of the DC Chapter is to assist our members in achieving a professional career in law enforcement, recruiting members into the Metropolitan Police Department organization. Organized promotional study groups, provide guidance to insured a successful career whiting the Metropolitan Police Department. Assist with the relocation of members joining the MPD, providing limited financial assistance in emergency, provide guidance in obtaining legal assistance. Creating a partnership with youth, school's, community, political leaders and the management of the Metropolitan Police Department.
