Jess Martinez was chosen because of his commitment to this organization and to the mission, goals, and objectives of the NLPOA. Jess has exemplified excellent organization and leadership skills as a Founding Member of the Kings County Chapter, California and has been an NLPOA member for over 30 years. Jess has committed his personal time and personal resources as a local board member and as Chapter President. After 30 years as a deputy with the Kings County Sheriff's Department, California, Jess continues to "Keep his city safe.".
