Covenant House for Christmas Donations

The NLPOA Los Angeles Chapter
this year chose the "Covenant House California" located in Los Angeles for their
Christmas donations. The chapter collected over $7,000 in new clothing, gift
cards and calling cards that were delivered on Saturday December 22nd. The
Covenant House CA is a shelter for homeless youth 18-21 years of age. CHC gives
youth what they need and much more. They get youth off the streets they give
them food, clothing, shelter but they also give a person what they need to
change their life. The CHC assists these youth by giving them a full medical
physical, resources to finish high school, prepare them to further their
education and assist them with a job preparation program so they can be
productive citizens.
On behalf of the NLPOA Los Angeles Chapter we would like to thank all who
donated to make this years event a great success.
