The North Los Angeles Co. Chapter had our first NLPOA Child Car Seat give-away this past Saturday, February 16th, at the Inglewood Police Department. We conducted over 70 inspections, and found that many of the seats that were inspected were improperly installed and/or in deplorable conditions. We received nothing but positive feedback from several in the community that participated in the event.

We had over 45 volunteers participate from varying entities, which included the CHP, Inglewood PD, DEA, LASD, Maywood PD, ELLAS Youth Foundation, State Farm Insurance, and the California Karate Youth Foundation. All of these entities did an outstanding job. Thanks to everyone involved, the event was a success.
