• All publishing of articles by the Author, must be e-mail to National El Puente Editor, in Microsoft word format or notepad on the due date.

• All articles must be 500 words or less. If the articles are more than 500 words, the article has to approved by the National El Puente Editor.

• All pictures must be sent as attachment in e-mail, in jpeg format or gif format.

• e-mail address for publication is nlpoa@comcast.net  

• All publishing material may not be published, if material is not directly related to National Latino Peace Officers Association goals and mission.

• Also if the publishing of the material is in conflict with Legal and Policy Guidelines, the article will not be published.

Legal and Policy Guidelines
Detailed below is the El Puente Legal and Policy Guidelines.

Copyrighted Materials
 

You may not place any materials owned by others, i.e. copyrighted works, in the El Puente article page without the expressed permission of the copyright owner. (Examples: cartoons, articles, photographs, songs, software, graphics scanned in from published works or other web pages). Assume materials you find on the Web or materials that are copyrighted unless a disclaimer or waiver is expressly stated. You may include quotations of a few words provided you identify the author and the work from which the quotation is taken.

Licensed Materials

You may not place any licensed material in the El Puente article page without the expressed permission of the copyright owner.

Expressed Permission of the Copyright Owner

All expressed permission of the copyright owner statements must e-mail back to El Puente Editor, with the article to be published in the El Puente article.
