Hidden Valley Elementary School Safety Fair

On Saturday, April 26th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the Sonoma County Law Enforcement Association (SCLEA) and the Sonoma County Chapter of the National Latino Peace Officers™ Association (NLPOA) worked together to fingerprint sixty-three (63) children at the Hidden Valley Elementary School Safety Fair, in Santa Rosa. SCLEA also gave gun locks to the public free of charge, to keep guns and kids safe. SCLEA is a 501 (c) (5) non-profit organization with over 500 Sonoma County employees comprising of Correctional personnel, Dispatchers, Probation Officers, Juvenile Correctional Counselors, Park Rangers, Fire Inspectors, District Attorney Investigators, Welfare Fraud Investigators, and Residential Care Counselors. Representing SCLEA were: Shaun DuFosee (President), Tom Gordon, and Teresa Guerrero. Representing NLPOA was: Ronald Perez. Also volunteering was Teresaae™s sister, Debbie Guerrero. Also at the Safety Fair was a booth where Child Car Safety seats were inspected and fitted when in need. Child Car Safety seats were also given to those in need. A Bicycle Rodeo was sponsored and coordinated by Safe Kids of Sonoma County, which the Sonoma County Chapter is a member of.
