Steve Fajardo was chosen because of his commitment to this organization and to the mission, goals, and objectives of the NLPOA. Steve has exemplified excellent organization and leadership skills as a member of the NLPOA Alameda County Chapter, California and has been an NLPOA member for over 30 years. Steve has committed his personal time and personal resources as a local board member, a Chapter President, as the NLPOA California State President, and as the National NLPOA Parliamentarian. Steve retired after serving 30 years as a Law Enforcement Officer in the Oakland area. Department in the world and supervises more than 13,000 sworn and civilian personnel. He is an Adjunct Professor of Public Administration at the University of La Verne.
