29th Annual Awards Dinner in Las Vegas Nevada, 2001.


Officer Richard Agundez, Jr. was honored as the Officer of the Year
for saving the lives of many school children, after a gunman came onto the school
and opened fire.


Harry Reid, United States Senator, was the Keynote speaker of the evening.


Lt. Mark Martinez, President of the Omaha Chapter (Left) was honored
for his work in Nebraska.


Sgt. Rich Gonzalez, Omaha Chapter was also honored for his work in Nebraska.


President Miramontes made Sheriff Ralph Lopez, from San Antonio TX,
an honorary NLPOA Member. Sheriff Lopez was also a keynote speaker at the dinner.
